If it was just for oil, we would invade Saudi Arabia.

Of course, if Saddam is the only one in the ME with WMD, HE could invade Saudi Arabia too. And would at some point.

I'm glad we can all agree on oil not weapons being the main thing. Now let's get this friggin' war over with, hopefully with few casualties. Seize the oil-fields, bomb these suspect facilities they show as evidence. What are we doing letting them move around weapons? Same goes with any suspect Al Qaida bases up north. Bombs away. And get the CIA to engineer some surgical hits. Let Mossad help. And James Bond, get him in there. Why all the discussion? Bush keeps trying to be everything to everyone but he cannot. Much of the world's going to hate him anyway so might as well just do what he wants to do. Iraq is the centerpiece of his presidency so what's he waiting for? France?
