25 vitamins and minerals in every egg, including calcium, vitamin d, iron, and other goodies like folate. of course eggs are loaded with b vitamins and the all-important yolk contains all the vitamin a, d, e, zinc, and more of the iron, folate, calcium, phosphorus, copper manganese, etc than the white. don't be brainwashed by that jewish guy seinfeld who ate egg-white omelettes on his show.

eggs are second only to breast milk for high quality protein (in fact egg protein is the standard by which all others are judged), and the yolk contains essential fatty acids.

the egg is nearly the perfect food, the only thing it is lacking is vitamin c. apparently baby chicks can manufacture this on their own. humans can't so all you need to do is dice up some red bell peppers for your omelette. red bell peppers have around 4 times as much vitamin c as an orange, with a lot less sugar.
