Excessive credit use is perpetuated and encouraged by the Finance community, and their Republican friends in washington are trying to help them out by making bankruptcy laws more stringent.

Generally, the wealthy will not spend the tax savings, and are more likely to invest and save. Being the people who provide the capital that provides work for most other Americans, why should they be penalized for being successful??? It may not provide instant stimulus, but it is the correct longer-term solution to the problem.
