Tim,
Thanks

"What did Pottruck, CEO of Schwab Corp, receive and how did he contribute value to Intel stockholders?

Could you elucidate us on the highlighted part of my question?

Only the uneducated are "fooled" when options to directors and corporate officers are a matter of public record.

I admit to falling into that category. Most people are uneducated or ignorant about something, but it is curable with knowledge. However, only a very few people are blessed with knowledge of everything.

You are a very lucky fellow, except for your Intel stock becoming worthlesser and worthlesser due to dilution problems. Take care...humble carl

Good post, Tim. Those who are grumbling over stock options ought to argue for expensing these options, or doing something else that makes it "clearer" how options dilute shareholder equity.

And if they think their investment dollars are feeding some sort of "Free Lunch for Inner Circle" program, they really ought to be taking their money elsewhere. Perhaps a company that doesn't believe in stock options, or having "outrageous" compensation packages for execs. Whatever.
