At least you didn't say "fabricated." You're softening. ;-)

BTW, I still think there's a reasonable chance of achieving the desired result without a war. If the security council decides to become irrelevant, there's little hope, but if they act and turn the heat up to high under Saddam by resolving to use force, then the countries pushing for his exile finally have an offer he can't (rationally) refuse. He may still choose to fight, but as long as the UN waffles, he has nothing to lose by waiting and playing the game a little longer.
