Oil is everything, my friend. Bill O'Reilly admitted it, Anne Coulter admitted it, nobody in the Administration will but who cares? The war on terror? Largely forgotten, but at best a distant cousin of Saddam Hussein. Not directly related so far as we know or can prove.

This Iraq thing has dragged on for so long it's getting ridiculous. What a waste of time. Bush is going to end up doing the same thing he initially polanned, a quasi-unilateral strike. But by now Saddam is dug in and has had six months to prepare. We'll see. I wish our boys the best, but next time Bush whips it out, he ought to just use it. Reagan wouldn't have dragged on for six months wasting everyone's time and dominating world attention from other more important issues. But then again, maybe that was what the Bushies wanted to do. The last thing they want is for Iraq to be over and the public to once again focus on domestic issues.

Remember when Reagan bombed Khaddafi? That's what Bush should have done to begin with. That and seize the oil-fields. But I'm just a lone citizen, he's the president and has all the power. So God bless him and may he be wise. And may people be wise too.
