Thanks for posting that article. It mirrors my own experience that rents are rising for lower income units in Southern California, despite the economy.

I have been pleasantly surprised that rents on my small lower income building in South Cal can be raised without too much complaining from the tenants. Some have looked around and found that there is not much available in that price range.
