I hope the oil fields are in control of US corporations...I sure as hell don't want the government running those operations....and the proceeds will go to the Iraqi people instead of to a repressive dictator....an excellent result by any measure....

The U.S. company to watch is Unocal. They've been kicking around Afghanistan for a while now. I was complaining about them way way back, before 9/11.
