we could gone into Baghdad, brought Saddam to his knees

inflicted more damage, more soldiers on each side killed

we didn't - we gave him a break

agreed to a cease fire - a chance for Saddam to move forward - a chance to comply

and what has he done with it in the 12 years?

posture, bluster, hide, evade, deny, defy, cover-up, lie

he won't stop till he is stopped

it could have been a lot worse if the US was as brutal as Saddam...

Combine the brutality of Saddam's regime with the power of the US and millions could have died.
