Why? What seems silly and nonsensical to you, might not seem so to them. And it is not your place to tell them what is a threat to them. They perceive a threat, they plan/want to re-act to it in the same manner as the example that is going to be set by the US very soon. Are they wrong? Are you better and a more higher being than them? Do you perceive that you can do certain things just because you can, and others should defer doing certain things cause you don't perceive them as right?
