North Korea was put on notice, as was Iran, as part of the "axis of evil" and told they would each be dealt with in turn. The problem with threatening North Korea is that they are armed to the teeth, they have NOTHING to lose, they have their entire military mobilized with a hair trigger and they are ruled by a person/persons who are someplace within a stone's throw of being completely crazy. The "axis of evil" made for great television, but it made for really bad foreign policy. When was the last time you heard Bush use this expression? The lives of millions of people are at stake -- it is pure incompetence. Hawaii, not to mention the US troops and allies all across Asia, are within striking range of North Korea.
