Bottomline, Bush has staked his entire presidency on this. Yes, he has and probably feels he can't accept any outcome short of regime change. If it happens, accept Iran to try to move into the vacuum and expect the Wahhabis to provide the finances to obstruct them. My prediction: Civil war in Iraq after the invasion. This will require a US military presence for a long time. We seem to have forgotten the lessons we should have learned in Iran.
