I agree that gold itself is much better and SAFER investment at least for next couple months. Since war is a go go and in the end we might see nukes flying (former advisor to Kennedy giving better chances for this scenario than during Cuban crisis) I wouldn't put money now into any non N.American miner.

Luc, really don't see *that* much chest pounding going on here, under the circumstances. Of course, Tony probably woulda got the big boot long ago on some moderated threads .... he's kinda like the guy who streaks during the 7th inning stretch, all the while giving the crowd the double finger.

But explain to a dumb@ss g'bug like me, if the physical has got so far ahead of the stocks, almost vertical prior to Powell's speech; while the stocks have lagged and been mired in their own private Idahell ... (it would seem they are priced for $340, not bloated predicting $440)

Why short the laggard stocks? Why not short the rocketing metal?

Wouldn't that be the play ... for a trader?

Lucretius, YOU are the one that doesn't get it...when gold itself moves, is the first sign of a genuine bullgold market. The miners will take care of themselves! I'm in no hurry. Got the first dollar on a major position in a TO junior...the rest are going to be hit and runs and its too early for them...way to early...only the surging SI herd was playing them, and clipping for pennies.

Let those of us who are profitable pound on something besides our chests, okay? Hurts the boobs fer starters. Your little bald head would work for me. Work for you???

ROFLMAO
