How many inspectors are there, something like 200? I think we should do like the French say, but instead of tripling the number of inspectors, we should increase their number by about a 1000-fold. Oh, and arm them with guns.

That is about the only way 'inspections' will work, IMHO.

You can't be serious. So you are one of those that thinks everything in Powell's presentation to the UN is fake? Otherwise I don't see how you could come to the conclusion that containment with inspections works in Iraq.

I don't think Powell's pictures are fake. And I also think his speculation as to what's going on in the pics is reasonable......but if someone asked me in a court of law do I think Powell provided hard evidence/a smoking gun I would have to answer no. What he did do was provide enough damning evidence that the Sec. Council can't ignore the argument of the hawks.

He was even making new bio agents while the inspectors were in town!

I missed that one so I went back over the transcript. You'll have to point out to me where in Powell's speech that comment was made.
