I'm sure there are times Bush wishes he had just gotten the right humint then sent in Delta Force after a few smart bombs. Even if he only kills Saddam's double and half his family and staff. Be certain Bush is a little queasy right about now wondering what if Saddam throws something nasty right in the middle of our staging grounds in Kuwait or Turkey. It could happen, my friend. Or what if Saddam uses human shields and prolongs this for a year? Risky business. That is why war should be avoided if possible, because as Tommy Franks says, no battle plan survives the first exchange of fire. A lot of people thought Vietnam would be easy, and the Gulf War would be difficult. Bottomline, you just never know until you do it.
