I couldn't remember any pre-emptive strike. Just now, after reading your note, I remembered Israel's pre-emptive strike against Iraq's nuclear facility.

That was a gutsy move, a move that certainly would not have been approved by the inept UN, but a move that certainly saved the world a lot of misery.

Israel received little thanks for doing the world a big favor, only criticism.
