>>>Have we not learned ?<<<

Great question, Fred!

When Iraq invaded Iran in 1980, the US opposed a UN resolution condemning Iraq's invasion. Further, the US at that time took Iraq off its list of nations supporting terrorism and opened up arms transfers to Saddam Hussein's government. Making matters worse, in 1985, the US secretly provided arms to Iran directly and that, of course, is how Ollie North ultimately endedup with a FoxNews show!

Nice, huh! Indeed, with a record of behavior as shown above perhaps the very best thing the US should do is leave Iraq alone, and concentrate on more serious matters manifest on the front burner.

And those guys in NYC want to build new towers TALLER than the ones that came down ?

You better believe it. We sure do.

Who would want to work in it ? To be honest, it would not bother me, but I don't see it filling up with people or companies.

I'd work in them, and this has been the topic of more than a few conversations I've had with others here and in this line of work. I'm quite sure there won't be much trouble bringing companies into them.

Can you imagine the Insurance rates ?

Ultimately, they can't be any higher than what the market will bear. Silverstein, the builders, etc., will ensure that long before construction begins.

<< I am shocked we have not been hit with anything else since 9/11. >>

So am I. It is only a matter of time. It is not "if", it's "when".

And....... there is a significant possibility that the weapons used, against America, will be stamped "Made in Iraq".
