got a target for the downdraft? I'm torn, at first I thought higher low than oct. I still think higher low than oct for a local downdraft, but my concern is these "geopolitical issues" don't get resolved after iraq and we continue a downward spiral. The semi-equips look especially vulnerable to me. I planned on shorting those into the war decline but amat got ahead of me (to the downside). Now I wonder if he will hit 7. Looks like it.

I'm sitting 50% in cash for one very simple reason. I do not think war will be avoided. Between al quada, suddham, n. korea and etc...it just looks like it is going to get ugly. Back when we invaded kuwait, it was quick and painless for most americans. We watched on CNN as our forces went in and kicked A$$. This will be different. Personally, I think somehow, someway, they will manage to strike big in our own homeland...whether it be a bilogical or nuclear weapon, or maybe they just blow up a nuclear plant....but I do think we are dealing with fanatics, I do think they more then likely already have plans in place to cause major catastrophy here in the US. It's been a loooong time since americans had to fear something major happening on our own soil. You think sept 11 was bad? What happens if they blow up a nuclear power plant or set off some biological piece of $hit that kills hundreds of thousands, if not millions?? Personally, I think this is inevitable. I just dont think it will be a quick war, with nothing bad happening on our own soil. And if something does happen on our own soil...what will the markets do? PLUNGE, and allow me to put that 50% of cash to work on things like RFMD at $1, Csco at $2, Dell at $3 and etc, etc, etc........If I am wrong, well, I have 50% stock also, which will go up, if I am wrong....so, I either see gains with what I have, or get a great buying opp....one of the 2......just my opinion of course...... Question, I dont know much about gold. If you had actual GOLD...not gold stocks, but actual gold...is now a good time to sell it, or am I better sitting it in a safe deposit box and hold for the future. I have not ever kept up with gold pricing, past or present.....TIA
