It duz and it duzn't. If S.H did not have oil, this would not happen. Since the beginning the destabilization of Irak has been about Kirkup and Amoco. They offed mr. mossadegh for attempting to nationalize amoco. But here the fear is about what SH could do with oil money. Their gun has cold smoke, so they have to Tonkin it up a bit. But the roots of the conflikt are still there. It all seems like SH is lying possum. Maybe. I I were he I would want independence, and oil and weapons. You need some. I don't know about nukes but they do keep people from invading or seem to. But it was conventional armies in Korea which beat the States, not nukes, and Vietnam too. WW! tactics stalled the States, and an ineffective draftee army and the lack of will to fight even with damn good weapons. SH could hide in mine tunnels and in boxcars, and all sorts of places in the last ten years. And make it seem like everywhere they want to go, there is something there maybe, maybe not. But I would have something somewhere, but not anywhere where the States was likely to look. And I were the States I would not let SH know I knew where to look necessarily either. That source of info is all too important. Great game. The States will do what it will do. For what reasons it has. EC<:-}
