<< Why the US didn't take Kuwaiti or Saudi oil?
First off, they don't have to, as the US pretty much gets what it wants from those countries.

You are talking about rational behavior when it comes to America dealing with Kuwait or Saudi Arabia, but irrational behavior when dealing with Iraqi oil.

Trying to take Iraq's oil could start World War III. It ain't going to happen. It is an absurd idea, thought up by people who don't have a good grasp of reality or politics or world history.

That's so obvious and so clear. By adding the Iraqi oil reserves to that in the Arabic peninsula, that would total to a dominant control of world energy supply and market. That is such powerful position and can be used to destabilize economies elsewhere.
