OCC assigns clearing member firms, then the firms assign indiv accts. So whoever did those 300k contracts (or whatever large amt) is probably counted as ONE customer. your chances are not 1:300k (or 10:300k); it's almost assured that when whoever exercises early, u will get assigned.
