I am expecting a good move in CRJ.TO sometime in the near future. The SeaBee Mine has never been in better shape and they have their nose into this stuff right now. The grade is significantly above past production ore at SeaBee.

Message 16706947

Claude is currently deepening the main shaft at SeaBee. The shaft will be raise bored from below and the process will not interfere with production from the mine.

2003 will see much higher grade ore and of course the POG is much higher than last year.

There is currently a significant drill program ongoing at and near the SeaBee property.

Claude also has oil and gas interests which should be contributing significant cash at current prices.

Madsen exploratory drill results from the Placer JV should be out soon. Placer will be expanding the drill program in 2003 and targeting high grade resource areas.

"Additionally, in Phase III Placer Dome intends to drill the down-dip
extension of the No. 8 zone from surface. This drill program will involve a
long pilot hole with three or four "wedges" providing four or five pierce
points in this high-grade target. Drilling is expected to commence early in
2002."

newswire.ca

Madsen has about 1 million tonnes of .3 ounce ore and a mill in place which could be put into profitable production at current prices by the JV. Claude suspended operations at Madsen when POG was at US$265 per ounce.

On another front Shore Gold will be bulk sampling the huge Star Kimberlite property in 2003. Claude has an interest in Shore Gold through share ownership.

Thanks Claude, have you considered this, but please note that I have not been able to confirm it's a real Reuters story:
