I can explain that:

1. Look at SPX and VIX. SPX crossed under 61.8% retracement (low 10/02 and high 12/02). VIX is showing it.

2. Look at NDX and VXN. NDX is about 49% retracement. VXN is showing it...also QQV.

They're not selling techs as aggressive as others. Period!

both vix and vxn looking toppy. vix isnt even restricted by the upper bollinger and its pulling back. think about that too. ggg

a recent study has shown that aggressive growth funds(tech heavy weighted funds in other words) have been INCREASING there risk with relentess averaging down rather then selling).
Guys like Gustafson and Reilly, to name but a few, have put their head in a noose and they know if they start selling when there are no buyers they will create their own death so they sit and sweat and do NOT sell. This has created a desperate situation., imo. Max
