40 nations on board, 18 of them European. Whatever some vocal people in the US say I believe the numbers are with Bush. Of course when it starts the numbers will go even higher. Now if we do see too many US deaths things can change rapidly - I'm not sure the US is really ready for that. However, if it was due to chemical weapons it would make us both angry and help prove the danger of those weapons and probably galvanize us to rid the world of them.

Did you see Rumsfeld linking the Germans with Libya and Cuba as the only countries supporting Iraq. Seems a bit over the top, but probably effective - Axis of Weasels.
