A fast response to the points you raise. I do NOT revere Percival or the the book THINKING AND DESTINY but I did recommend it to you because you were interested in some of the subject matter it covers. Relative to any comments I make or have made relative to Adi Da they are based on: -- personal experience of him over 18 years -- study of related matters over about 40 years I am not suggesting that anybody should accept my comments as anything other than comments coming out of my own life experience and investigation. If anybody is interested in the subject-matter I recommend they can check it out for themselves and form their own conclusions. One element of Adi Da's teaching that I have always appreciated is that he says: "Don't believe ANYTHING I tell you. Prove the truth of what I say to yourself, however you need to do so." That is exactly what his students do, among other things. I mention this NOT because I feel you are a candidate, Solon, but because you might appreciate the MERIT of such an approach. Namaste! Jim
