But EVIL?

I would say his aggressiveness is a liability for the Bush administration. But then, since his boss sets the example, it is in a strange way difficult to fault him alone for his careless, stupid, no upside remarks.

He's tough. He's conservative. He's exceptionally bright. He's demanding. He's absolutely, brutally honest in all respects. But EVIL?

I don't like people who use their intellect to intimidate people. I had suspected he was that type and it was confirmed in an article about him that I read. There's no question he's tough and bright but there's no excuse nor reason to be a shit about it.

I thought his remarks re: Germany were great. Germany is not being a very good friend right now and it is unbecoming for the president to say it. So I think it is great someone in the administration had the guts to tell it like it is.

To lump Germany in with Cuba and Libya is an out and out insult and counterproductive. However, the German Foreign Minister this AM had the right attitude when asked what he thought about Rumsfield's comment........."oh, that's only Rumsfield". There is good reason why Bush has kept Rumsfield in the background the past few months.....he's a loose cannon.
