>>portage: tell us what over reaching is?

What shrub and the all repub. legislature will do, believing they're righteous and unimpeded.

examples :

bringing back Pickering right away

overturning long established practices through executive orders as a habit

running the deficit up the pole and feeding the money to the military industrial complex and big money dividend tax breaks

undermining unions at most every opportunity

changing pension rules to the detriment of average workers

dubya acting peeved when opponents don't roll over for his majesty's agenda

to name a few.

The question is not whether you or I like these policies, but how the masses (especially swing voters) will react when these actions continue to roll them while they're struggling with their future livelihoods.

On top of a crumbling economy, average people eventually notice that they're not being helped by these lobbyist induced agendas. Shrub's been taught by Rove to throw out a bone now and then (i.e. AIDS funding, etc.), but in the end, people won't be fooled, as the financial system/credit/fiat printing charade culminates.

latest poll - only 45% would vote to re-elect bush. Without a clear opponent yet either.

They'ze very uneaazy out on main street already.

Get ready for the revival of : "Do you feel you are better off than you were 4 years ago" ?
