Ken I made what I call a self evident observations.

Well, America is 260 million?? more. If you know somewhere where more people have more freedom, fairness and tolerance, let us all know. On the curve we are farther along than everyone else.

It is my summary statement of all my research, effort and substance. If what I say is true it has many implications and I think quickly reveals good logic and bad logic in any proposed actions or proffers in Foreign Affairs.

It is self evident to me that the collective opinion of the most free and tolerant with a sample size of 250 million plus is going to be the most informed on this planet.

One can call that chauvinistic or sound engineering judgement.

I donot know how to reason that my original statement is reactive. It is so obvious and true to me.

I must say I have no idea what you are talking about. And I'm not trying to be funny.

Your caution to me is bewildering and my logical reaction is that it is reactive, lacking research, effort and substance. And my throwing these words back at you is not trying to be funny. I am disappointed and bewildered.

I slice and dice arguments, I attempt to be direct and to the point. That seems to me to be the way to reduce thread bloat.

As an engineer, my training and my work was about quickly reducing information and ideas to the core truths. The essential facts that have real meaning. The way to find a signal in the noise is to quickly state what one thinks is the noise. All agree or argue about what is noise. When all the obvious noise is agreed to, then finding the signal in the remaining noise is a lot easier.
