Gold prices:

<< So hold the gold now, and sell later is the best thing to do.....do gold prices typically rise during war? >>
In many societies people carry their wealth in the form of gold jewelry. Unsettling events of today may cause them to do more of that.
I would suspect many more gold traders exist today than a few years ago because of the uncertain equities market.
And the price of gold today represents the experts opinion of what it will be worth in the near future
A short war could bring it down fast but I suspect, not too far
I cant help much on trading values
Just said there are advantages in personal attitude if you hold an ace in hole.
I paid $640 oz in 1970's Swapped one for a Cadillac, swapped another for an broken MBZ , gave some away,
still have few. A loss? Not really, I got $3200 for the MBZ. Its cool stuff to own . Dont care if it goes up or down
Wont burn in a house fire.
