Come on, Nadine. At some level you must know that if that were true, the western press would be all over this story.

Bullshit they would be all over the story. Haven't you noticed that the western press favors the underdog, and the Palestinians have been christened the underdog. Plucky stone-throwers against Israeli tanks, that sort of thing? Which will sell papers better, the plucky stone-thrower paying with his life against the well-armed IDF, or an ambush of the IDF by mixed stone-throwers and gunmen, who draw return fire? To ask the question is to answer it.

Besides, who does most of the reporting from the Gaza strip and the West Bank? Palestinian stringers working for Reuters. They make no pretence of objectivity.

Both from Israeli sources.

Plus two more from Arab sources, one of which was Palestinian, which spoke very clearly about sending boys into harm's way in battle.

It is a small leap from adults that encourage politically motivated suicide, or encourage their children to participate in riots that put them at risk, to the other things alleged........
