Oh I don't "get it", do I? We are all in danger of continued terroristic activity until the terrorists and their sponsors and safe havens are eliminated.Iraq is as good a place as any to start after Afghanistan has been denied to Al Quaeda....and better than most Listen, Mr jlallen who just discovered the wonderful world of terrorism about 1.5 years ago - I have lived in places where terrorists were blowing up places right and left (oh of course they were being called "freedom fighters" by the US and certain western European countries at the time). So I realize you are now running scared but that is NOT an excuse to run around invading countries picked for their oil resources rather than any verifiable connection to Al-Qaeda, happily killing thousands until your need for revenge and your sense of security is somehow restored. And it sure is no excuse for your president to lie about reports from international agencies and kid us around with childish/religious rhetoric of "good versus evil" and "we are liberating the people of Iraq".
