I thought you actually were one of the saner ones here, but that response makes me wonder. What you are trying to blow up into a major charge is in fact a nit. Read this again: Dismissing the gathering controversy as the latest example of media obsession with spin, officials insisted it in no way undermines the underlying truth of the dossier, whose contents had been re-checked with British intelligence sources. "The important thing is that it is accurate," said one source. If THAT'S not true, THEN you have a serious charge. As you yourself said, we're talking life and death here and you're worrying about what at best what might be a 3rd-rate misdemeanor.
