that is a low for the ratio that occus at tops. we are now around 6 vs 5 ish in oct

It hit 1.35 in 1998 according to that site.

But what it did in 98 was irrelevant as the ETFs have changed the way people play the indices.

Take a look at the levels that turning points have occurred at in the last 9 - 12 mths and use those as a guide. EG, <0.2 for a daytrade long and >0.4 for a daytrade short. But don't use this indicator in isolation, as it is unreliable. It is just nice when it is confirming what other indicators say.
