The real question is: If, as promised to us by Bush in his State of the Union speech, British and American intelligence have such irrefutable proof of Iraq's imminent threat to the US, why is the most convincing dossier that they can provide to UN members composed of a report copied almost verbatim from a 6-month old international policy publication? /Kit

the sept. 2002 article was by this guy. it says he is in iraq now. "Ibrahim al-Marashi is a research associate at the Center for Non-Proliferation Studies in Monterey, California as well as a lecturer at the US Naval Postgraduate School. He is currently working on a project on Iraqi intelligence operations in northern Iraq and Kuwait."
