Frankly, I think that sustained $45/barrel oil would be the best thing for the U.S. It would force us to come up with a viable alternate energy solution.

Innovation is what set the U.S. apart from the rest of the world and it is what will be the long term solution to our geopolitical and economic problems.

IMVHO...of course

Hell....I think there are only 25 million people in Iraq. Imagine the paradise we could build for a population that small with 15 dollar per barrel oil. I think we could make them all wealthy and above all EDUCATED!

That sounds suspiciously like nation-building to me.
