During the gas crisis of the 1970s I thought about buying a recent Lincoln Continental and parking it outside the house to raise property values in the neighborhood. You could probably store lawn supplies in an SUV. Just drive it to the garden supply place and fill it up with pine straw and fertilizer when you needed it.
