1/ The French air carrier is too wide for the Suez canal, you don't want it clogged, do you?

2/ The French PM sweats to sell a few dozen airbuses to India, the deal is almost done, and some top gun from Boeing tries to outbid him in a war.

3/ Irak: what's in it for France ? Kurds refugees, the debt, and all the secrets revealed ? Chirak needs promises, at least.

4/ The Bushes made it to Paris a few times. When was Chirak invited last. (When was Mitterrand ?)

5/ Everyone remembers Chamberlain coming out of his plane with his paper, who remembers Daladier landing at dusk in le Bourget, with almost half a million Parisians waiting for him ?
"Are they here to greet me or to tear me apart ?" he murmured to his aide de camp.

And last: not that I agree with the French position, but they do say that WWars have the strange habit of starting on their soil, and they know from both experiences that it took the US a couple of years on average to declare that they will join in.
