By the way, you might make note of the fact that during the Vietnam War I didn't go to Canada or beg out on a student deferrment. I went to jail in support of my conscientious beliefs, this a behavior that was neither Republican nor Democrat.

It's been my experience over the years, however, that it's the Republican Party that most protects the interests of big business and that if the draining of resources from smaller nations required a stronger military power or a war or a puppet dictator in place in order to do accomplish same, it's never been a problem. Indeed, the path of political donations tell the story.
