Oh, I'm sure they just want to keep the historical records from historians and the American public for the most noble of reasons.... Couldn't be because there is anything that might embarrass them... like condoning Saddam's weapons program (Anthrax: purchased from the US when the Reagan admin over-rode their own State Department's prohibition about selling arms to Iraq, chemical precursors for nerve gas and mustard gas: sold at the same time, photographic intelligence given to Saddam by US intelligence operatives....) Nah... none of that would embarrass anyone these days :)
