Yo Clapper,

<Anyhow I'm not into all that stuff. I need a dead ball
that doesn't spin much or go very far. This way I'll hit
them straighter and not have to walk so far into the woods
to look for them... <g><ng>

When you find a ProV1 in the woods, it's like finding $4.00. Once you start hitting it consistently, then you want to chose a ball that suits your game. I use the ProV1 because of the feel chipping and putting around the greens. There is more distance with it, but that's a double-edged sword. Hogan put out a beautiful ball last year...distance and feel. Most of these guys play Titlest because they are free, Nike has essentially the same ball but a little "stickier" holding the greens although it scuffs up pretty fast in the traps (and that gets expensive).

I read that Tiger had the knee problem all last year and just played through it. Hope he's back soon for the Southern Swing...best time of year except for the US open.

Having said all that...I'm taking the hound out when I xcountry ski this morning.
