You know that is how the central gov't of SA divert attention from themselves. The SA gov't is the root of all evil and the biggest menace to their own people and their society. But because they've managed to keep the mass under educated and in the dark they can manipulate them as they please. The regions layer is always stands ready by the ruling party to play their role as they do in the past, present and will in the future. The only way to end to this states of sadness is to bring economic freedom to the people of these countries and that is an uphill battle, after all the SA rulers have invested heavily in the US and UK and counties of such. There are no easy answers but solution is at hand, alternative resources of energy for the western nations and that will be a damn good start to bring change to the world as we know it today! These are just my thoughts.
