Thanks for the anecdotes. My informal investor observations are similar. Most of them quietly capitulated last year, and the ones that haven't thrown in the towel by now probably won't.

The problem starts in that they are not buying back in. So the demand for equities remains low. I suspect many of them never will buy back in- at least not until we get another full blown mania going..
