Israel bombed and destroyed Iraq's nuclear processing plant in mid 1980's, as I recall. That was one successful operation and hit a very specific target. Iraq nuclear development program has never been the same since then.

Does that make him more of a nut ? How do you get in a 'war' and not use everything available to you ?

I'd LIKE to ask, 'why can't we all just get along ?', but then I remember the middle eastern folks have been at war in some form for at least the last 2,000 years, why stop a good thing ? (sic).
