On the upcoming Bastille Day this 14 July, the people of France will have some time to reflect if "Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity" as represented by the tri-color, only applies to the French. There are a great many people in Iraq that deserve freedom, just as the people of France, and they will remember who was willing to to be loyal and sacrifice their blood for Arab freedom from tyranny. Arabs cannot continue to be treated as "second class" citizens by the rest of the world. Arab freedom is worthy our blood

Perhaps President Chirac has confused the defeat of French colonialism at Dien Bien Phu, with the imminent action is Iraq. This would be an incorrect assumption IMO, and the liberation of Iraq will not be forestalled due to current French business desires that mimic past French colonialism.

I caution, Arabs have little tolerance for for hypocrisy and injustice.

I hope that President Chirac will remember he true meaning of Bastille Day, and unleash the Foreign Legion in support of the people of Iraq and global justice.
