thats what I fear... I did not say anything when he mentioned the war rally. I just said '"oh, I see".... He does seem to have REALLY bad timing when it comes to the market. But lucky for him he is very conservative when it comes to spending and debt-lives WAY below his means, almost painfully so according to his wife (my step mother in-law?) so he will be just fine. No mortgage, no credit cards, no car loans, nothing, so he has room for error :)
