Maybe. But I contend that right now, these employees who may have felt entitled during the boom years are feeling downright lucky that they still have a job right now. And if they aren't feeling lucky, they might quit, but you know what? There are 10 people with many more years of experience waiting in line to replace them. So I doubt you'll see wages increase. Pricing power is with the corporations nowadays. I'm a consultant. I have to sell business and get my people in the door. You know how many times I've had to renegotiate deals I thought were done only to have a company call me back and ask me to lower my prices or even worse work for a fixed fee? It's darn tough out there and companies know it. No one has room to feel entitled anymore. You take what you can get. JMHO.
