Recipe: Step 1. Remove the jewelry from the refugee. Step 2. Well, I never got this far because the damned refugees keep fighting back, bringing in relatives with guns and calling the cops. <g>

Call 713-228-3931 week days 9 to 5.
it's an old number (Houston) the area code may have
changed..I think the name was HPM Patric.
I'm not sure but I could find the place.
It's also a good place to buy from,
they take in all sort of junk melt it down
and make some really nice stuff out of it.
It was about 15yrs ago when I sold them some old
Silver bars.
Place don't seem to advertise much, and no big
signs..looks like a dump, but after you get through the first door, things start to change,& the other doors
are interesting. By the time you get to the counter
you will know you can't get out unless they want you
to.

There are a bunch of places that cater to dentist, pawn shops, jewelers, etc. that recycle scrap gold, silver, etc. Look in your yellow pages under recycling or do an internet search for metal recycling or scrap gold or something like that. Also lots of scrap is sold on EBay, but you will need access to a gram scale for that.

A general site:

metalworld.com

One that looks like it offers fair prices for scrap:

midwestrefineries.com
