Wish there were a clear answer to the question. Just what is GM up to? I do believe that OE has very strong patent protection and would promptly sue GM for infringement if GM were to attempt to violate the patents. It is likely too early to reach any conclusion until much more is known or revealed. We can only hope GM is planning to incorporate OE technology in a future automobile motor and willing to pay the royalty fees. Only time will provide us the answer. I do believe if there is any way around it, they will try, even losing time and money in the attempt. The scum bags.
