<< I do not think furthering democracy and freedom has ever been at the top of our agenda- >>

I guess you are right. After the world's worst war, WWII, our enemies, both Germany and Japan didn't become democracies, and neither did the rest of Europe. The same with after WWI.

Kosovo didn't become a democracy. Afghanistan is not becoming a democracy. Also, we force all our neighboring countries, and friends, like Canada and England, to become dictatorships.

You must be right. America IS the bad guy. There are absolutely no countries where America helped to rebuild them, and restore their freedom and democracy.

The biggest lie of all, was the Marshall Plan. That never happened, did it?

The speech delivered by General George Marshall at Harvard University on June 5, 1947, also never happened.

From the non existent speech: ===> "The truth of the matter is that Europe's requirements for the next three or four years of foreign food and other essential products-principally from America-are so much greater than her present ability to pay that she must have substantial additional help or face economic, social, and political deterioration of a very grave character."

Bad, bad America.

<< I do not think furthering democracy and freedom has ever been at the top of our agenda- though our government frequently likes to pay lip service to that idea. >>

I thought some more about your comment.

I just realized that the cold war against Russia never happened. America didn't win the cold war, under Reagan, and many countries, held captive for decades, under that old USSR, did not get their individual freedom, and turn to democracy.

No...... I have to agree with you. I am wrong. The entire world is nothing but dictatorships, caused by America's brutal power, and lack of regard and respect for democracy.

You must have really aced history in college!
