Probably so. But at some point the Bud's (Broke, Unemployed, and Depressed) have to see the light and vote for a change. If they bother to even vote.

I don't know too many middle class people who are better off today than they were 3 years ago. In fact many have been in deteriorating financial conditions for almost 3 full years through layoffs, increasing gas prices, health insurance premiums, stalled wage raises, small business bankruptcies, higher state taxes, higher property taxes, higher sales taxes, etc.

It can't go on much longer before these people vote for a change. It is the economy that worries these people most. The economy is terrorizing them and their dreams. Nothing else.

If you want a perfect example. Watch attendance at the coming Nascar races. The tracks have never had a hard time selling tickets. Now they do. Look for the empty seats. That segment of the population is hurting and has been for a while.
